The rooms at Hanoi Backpackers Hostel are so cozy and comfy, it feels like home! I loved having a seating area to relax in and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. The partially open bathrooms added a unique touch to the room!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the partially open bathrooms. But hey, that's just me!

The staff were warm, welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our children loved the vibrant atmosphere and enjoyed interacting with other travelers. The common areas were spacious, allowing our family to relax and participate in activities together. We were particularly impressed with the family-friendly tours and local insight provided by the knowledgeable staff. Our children also had a blast at the organized events and games, which added an extra touch of fun to our stay.
My children wanted a playground or outdoor space to run around and play.

Awesome staff, always willing to help and friendly
Great location, only 5 minutes to the main bars and clubs. Free beer every day at 6pm, delicious breakfast and coffee
Some bunk beds are double, so you share with a stranger. Dorms can be cramped, hot, and smelly.

I had a great long-term stay at Hanoi Backpackers Hostel. The location of the hostel was perfect, just a short walk away from everything in the old quarter. The rooms were nice and I loved the view from the balcony, despite the noise from the street. And the breakfast was delicious with eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great long-term stay experience.

We had an amazing experience staying at Backpackers. the staff were friendly and always ready to help. the hostel is in a great location, close to the bus station and other attractions. the room was comfortable and the breakfast was included. We also enjoyed the free beer during happy hour. They offered many trip options, and we chose Fantasea cruise, which was great. This hostel is definitely the best we've stayed at. We highly recommend it to everyone. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😞.

I had a delightful stay at Backpackers in Hanoi. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The breakfast options were tasty and varied every day. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They assisted me in planning my itinerary and shared lots of laughs. Despite what other reviews mentioned, I found that there were enough bathrooms, and I never had to wait. Plus, the free beer during happy hour was a delightful bonus. I highly recommend this hostel for a great value stay in Hanoi.
